SERIES 2 IMAGE 85

Tools for the reading room.

Measurements from PACS into the report, prior study dates at the cursor, clinical calculators with citations, and a check that what you paste belongs to the open patient. Plus an optional dashboard for reading-room counts.

What OverRead does

A workstation suite plus an optional dashboard companion. Install once on a Windows reading-room workstation.

Calculators with citations

Fleischner, Lung-RADS, adrenal, pancreatic cyst, thyroid TI-RADS, adnexal cyst, gallbladder polyp, and Bosniak renal cyst, plus RV/LV ratio, NASCET stenosis, vertebral height loss, and a Measurement Check against reference values. Each reads the report text, asks for what is missing, and pastes the recommendation with its citation.

A floating button bar

Value, Cite, Prior, Tools, and Pull Findings on a small bar you can park anywhere on screen. Every action also has a hotkey. Settings, profiles, and reload live in the tray icon.

Priors at one hotkey

Hit Ctrl+Alt+D in PowerScribe and OverRead types the dates of the patient’s prior studies at the cursor, pulled live from PACS.

Measurement capture

Drop a measurement in PACS. Ctrl+Alt+I pastes the parsed value at the PowerScribe cursor; Ctrl+Alt+R pastes the image citation. You dictate the prose around them. A strip above the bar shows what is held. Value, the strip, and Cite refuse anything measured on an exam that is not the open report.

Live reading-room stats on any device

Real-time counts, modality cards, moonlighting alerts. Get a push notification when a modality opens up for moonlighting — even when you're away from the workstation.

Pull Findings

One key pulls the positive findings out of the FINDINGS section and lists them at the Impression cursor for you to edit. Plain text handling on the workstation, no AI model.

Guided setup, per-radiologist profiles

A setup wizard walks each new install and each new profile through layout capture and signing calibration. Hotkeys, snippets, and even your Windows pointer follow your profile on shared workstations.

PHI never leaves the workstation

No patient data leaves the workstation. The only things OverRead sends out are the update check and a feedback form you fill in yourself; reference links open in your browser like any link. Accession numbers are checked locally so a measurement or citation can never be pasted into another patient's report.

What leaves the workstation

Everything stays on the workstation

OverRead runs entirely on the reading workstation. Patient identifiers are read from PACS and PowerScribe as needed for the cross-patient check and are never sent anywhere. Nothing about a patient goes to a server, a model, or a dashboard. The optional dashboard is a separate program on one designated workstation that publishes worklist counts only.
